From Roots and Wings
FROM ROOTS AND WINGS
VLIEGEN EN STILSTAAN (Dutch title)
TRIO ERINUS & Anastasia Kostner
A 60-minute interdisciplinary performance
LIVE MUSIC · CONTEMPORARY DANCE · VOICE · LIVE LOOPING
4 PERFORMERS · NO SPOKEN LANGUAGE · NO INTERVAL
Three musicians and one dancer share the stage, creating a performance in which music and movement become part of the same artistic language. The musicians move beyond their instruments, while the dancer becomes an integral part of the musical structure. Rather than separate concert pieces and dance sections, sound, voice and movement unfold as one continuous performance.
Rooted in the tension between staying and taking flight, finding one's place and seeking change, From Roots and Wings (Vliegen en Stilstaan) explores how four performers can shape a shared artistic space.
